This small production, wonderfully earthy Waipara Pinot is grown on limestone soils using biodynamic farming methods and truly demonstrates a serious homage for Burgundy. This is NOT new world Pinot Noir in its stereotypical sense. Instead, this wine delivers a savory mix of porcini mushroom, wet leaves, and wild red berry aromas and flavors that coalesce into a very fresh, very elegant wine.
