Tenuta Santoleri Crognaleto Vignaladra

It's extremely rare to see a Montepulciano d'Abruzzo that's as deeply complex and sophisticated as this fabulous find. This organic bottling is incredibly silky and sleek in the mouth, and shows lovely concentration but is somehow still light on its feet. Refreshing acidity is coupled with alluring notes of blackberry and bitter chocolate to yield a wine that is a true hidden gem in a sea of mediocre, bulk-quality Montelpulciano.
