Eugen Wehrheim Niersteiner Paterberg Grauer Grauburgunder Spätlese Trocken

This Grauburgunder, otherwise known as Pinot Gris, may have a very overwhelming label packed with way too many unpronounceable German words, but in the mouth, it is simply delicious. Very mineral-driven, with lots of wet stone character, this dry but fully ripe wine is layered with yellow peach, starfruit, and pungent grapefruit notes. Excellent concentration and nice weight on the palate.
