Well this fantastically soft, lean, and dare I say pretty Cabernet from Alexander Valley is a wonderful, off-beat example that puts fruit and terroir front and center and relegates oak to the back burner. Filled with plush black and blue fruit and an uplifting current of fresh herbs, this is vibrant juice that delivers an immense amount of pleasure, especially given its modest price tag. Made in very small quantities and fermented using wild yeasts.
